Fourth axis control card was created by hmatyas
Would the fourth axis control Module with something like the following?

Feature:
1.Chuck type: 50mm self-centering 3 Claw Chuck
2.Chuck center height: 49mm
3.Transmission ratio 1:4 (1200 pulses / revolution) synchronization gear reducer
4.3A 4 lead 57 stepper motor(1.8 Degree Step Angle)
5.Stainless steel dust cover
6.Processing load 30KG
7.Anodized rust treatment
8.4-pin connector 1 = A +, 2 = A-, 3 = B +, 4 = B-
9.Dimensions 180x105x100mm

MACH3 setup instructions: 1 degree required Pulse
The formula is: 360 / subdivision stepping angle * Drive * Transmission ratio / 360 = MACH3 Pulse

CNC Machine Accessory Tailstock for 4th-Axis:

Also, if it does, will the 4th Axis Module come with any software and/or a wiring diagram to hookup the stepper motor?

Thank you.

The fourth axis module (PCB) is a stepper driver like the drivers for the other axes. It is controlled by the "main CPU" of the machine which can be the WinPC-NC-board or an Arduino board.
All configuration parameter were set in the PC-software.

So, what is yout question?

Sorry, Will the fourth axis control Module work with the stepper motor that I mentioned above?

Also does the fourth axis control Module have documentation that would show how to wire the stepper moter?

Thank you

omg -

stepcraft sells "non-working" things just to get your money - or what do you think?

guess why it is called "4th axis module" !!

The motor resolution does not matter. The transmission ratio is different to the stepcraft but can be set in Software (CAM process).

The motor will run but will not have the torque or you have to let it run very slow because the driver board will heat up and die.

The interface board is developed for the motor used by stepcraft.

For any other accessory you should use an other driver board.
