Performance kit -- settings UCNC was created by DVdB
All,

what are your settings in UCCNC ? I installed the performance kit and whilst previously UCCNC worked flawlessly, it now keeps on saying that the reset logic is active .... Hence I cannot startup the machine ...

Settings: (machine = D420/2)

Any help welcome ....

Kind regards,
davy

Got it to run if I disable the emergency stop in software. If I keep it enabled, the Y-axis moves 3mm and then goes into e-stop; plug/unplug e-stop and I am able to move another 3mm.
If I disable e-stop in UCCNC, all works fine ...

?????

Hi, I have fitted kit with no problems, but had a thought, make sure your wiring is all correct, if micro switches or motor wires crossed, then wrong motor will be trying to move, also check that the motor wires are not only in correct connection, but in correct colour order. Plus the micro switch/EM switch wires are on the two outer connections on switches nothing on mid conection.

Hey! I'm having the same issue. Now disabled the estop in the software but the motors aren't working anymore even though it shows movement in uccnc (distance counter changes)

Did you manage to run it in the end?

Best, Martin

Hi, make sure all wiring is correct, on Faceboard Page, one chap had the hall sensor extension lead had become disconnected another had the micro switch wires connected to the wrong steeper motor connection, also as I have previosly mentioned the two outer connections are used on the micro switches middle connection not used. My unit has been running with no problems and regarding the settings in UCCNC, no changes are made the circuit board controls the new hall sensors etc, also the new stepper motors have a different wire colouring so important to follow the supplied wiring diagram.

HI, performance kit installed on stepcraft 600 with UCCNC.
Can not start the machine and checked all connection.
Is there a led on the performance kit lighting by powering the machine? The old version had two leds.
Is the polarity important for the connections of the end switches?

Thanks for help.

Hi, yes board has two lights alongside the power plug.
End switches connections have no polarity but MUST be on the two outer connections, middle connection not used.
Have you checked that the new power unit is supplying power?

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the help. Could be the power supply.
Question: where can I measure the voltages on the print ...probably 5V and 30V?
No voltage measured on the terminals for the led illumination.
