Final notes:

1) table dimensions

The Machine Parameters document by Stepcraft is very useful. By reading it you can discover that the maximum travel size of Y axis is 299 mm and not 300 mm as officially reported.

2) Spindle calibration

I've made many attempt but seems quite impossible to have a perfect correspondence between RPMs and percentage displayed on the control box of the spindle. With my parameters I obtain:

MDI command = M3 S4000 -> control box display = 20% (that's right!)
MDI command = M3 S20000 -> control box display = 99% (that's right!)

But for values between 4000 and 20000 the display shows always a little bit less percentage of the real value. Anyway we're talking about an error of 200-300 RPM.

Hi julius. Can we use linux cnc directly from usb with stepcraft. I want to try to control my machine with linux cnc if I could.
