Wenn ich soweit bin werde ich auch eine Sammelbestellung starten, vorher braucht sich keiner anzumelden. :whistle:

Ich hab heute erstmal von einem Arbeistkollegen die fehlenden Teile löten lassen. War ja nicht so viel.

Bis auf ein paar kleine Gimmicks sind alle Funktionen von Estlcam für die Stepcraft enthalten. Und die galvaniche Trennung von USB und Stepcraft verwirklicht.

Ich bin grad beim Schreiben einer Doku.

Hi Gunther,

magst du einem elektronischen Laien gerade noch mal erklären wofür die galvanische Trennung notwendig ist. Ich hatte lange ein selbst gefrästes Arduino-Shiled und jetzt dein wunderbares Profi-Shiled im Einsatz und hatte noch nie Probleme damit.

Das verhindert Ausgleichströme über das USB-Kabel. Ausgleichströme können auftreten bei:
- Maschine und PC an unterschiedlichen Erdungen (Schutzleiter) angeschlussen sind.
- Eines der Geräte keine Erdung
- Kunststoff gefräst wird

Ausgleichsströme über das USB-Kabel können zu Datenverlusten führen, müssen das aber nicht.

Du siehst es sind einige vielleicht oder eventuell. Du hast bisher keine Probleme, das ist GUT!

Leider nicht. Estlcam 10 funktioniert, aber die älteren Versionen verweigern teilweise die Komunikation. Ich weis noch nicht warum das passiert.

Ok kannst ja hier Infos geben falls Du eine Art Sammelbestellung aufgeben möchtest für Dein Projekt.

Na die meisten werden wohl mit Estlcam 10 und höher arbeiten

Das ist mir zu unsicher, das muss erst vernünftig laufen. Zumal die Vorgängerschaltung mit diskreten Bauteilen aber der gleichen Gundschaltung problemlos läuft.

Hallo Gunther,

schau mal im Bereich der Beschaltung des Atmega328 Reset Pins und des Bootloaders.
In beiden Fällen sind die Timings der kritische Punkt - Version 10 ist da erheblich flexibler als ältere Versionen und probiert verschiedene Wartezeiten aus wenn es beim 1. mal nicht klappt.

Was auch noch sein könnte: prüfe ob der USB-Seriell Wandler beim Einschalten oder Reset ein Byte sendet - das könnte z.B. durch eine unbeabsichtigte Flanke beim Reset passieren und wird von älteren Estlcam Versionen ebenfalls nicht toleriert.

Das blöde ist... ich komme nicht dahinter was los ist: :S

- alte Version V8.4 Schaltung mit DIL ATmega 328P funktioniert mit allen Esltcam versionen
- Neue Version mit gleicher Schaltung zum Reset und USB aber SMD Atmega funktioniert erst ab Estlcan V10

Reset hab ich schon versuch mit dem Ossi zu sehen, ist aber leider nur ein Impuls und ich hab kein speichernden Ossi.
Also reines Glück wenn man was sieht. *grummel*

Hab schon mit verschiedenen Bootlader (optiboot, Orginal Arduino) probiert, keine Änderung!

Auch unabhängig von der FTDI Treiber Version im Win.

Wenn ich ein Test in Win laufen lasse der DTR ständig umschaltet kommt das Reset zuverlässig.

Das hab ich getan (sogar die Platine zum Estlcam-USB testen gefrässt), aber ich sehe B) da trotzdem SMD- Bauteile.




Dann wirds wohl keine diskrete Variante so ganz ohne SMD geben oder, oder....

Der FTDI USB2ser Wandler giebt es nur in SMD, genau wie den ADUM1201.

Hallo Gunther,

wie groß ist die Kapazität des Kondensators zwischen DTR(FTDI) und RST(Atmega)? 100nF? Wenn ich das richtig sehe, ist noch ein Transistor dort in der Nähe verbaut. Wozu dient der? Hatte bisher bei meinen Schaltungen mit einem 100nF und einem 10kOhm Widerstand keine Probleme beim Reset, auch nicht bei SMD.

Eventuell ist das ganze auch etwas zu weit vom RST-Eingang entfernt. Könnte das bei Bedarf mal durchmessen mit nem Speicheroszi.

Der Kondensator hat 220n, hab aber auch schon andere Werte ohne Änderung pobiert.

Der vermeintliche Transistor ist eine Diode! Wie gasagt das ist die V9.0 in SMD.

Leider hab ich kein Speicherossi, nur ein normales.

Die Schaltung funktioniert ja auch problemlos, wenn ich den als UNO mit der Arduino-Software programmiere.

Die länge der Resetleitung sollte keinen Einfluss haben, geht beim orginal auch quer übers Board.

Ich hab grade etwas gesehen... Da ist ein anderer Atmega aufgelötet als ich bestellt habe.
Es sollte der ATMEGA328P-AU sein.

Unterschiede zwischen P und PB

Beim Reset scheint es auch ein Unterschied zu geben (Info von hier github.com/watterott/ATmega328PB-Testing )

Known Issues

ATmega328P and ATmega328PB have different thresholds for reset. This can be a problem when using a 5V power supply for the microcontroller and an USB serial adapter with 3.3V logic level on DTR.
•Reset Input Threshold Voltage (read as 0/low): ◦ATmega328P: 2.1V @ Vcc=5V
◦ATmega328PB: 1.6V @ Vcc=5V

Ob das alles zu deinem Problem passt... Keine Ahnung :)
Aber ich dachte ich poste es mal

Soweit war ich noch nicht mit lesen, englischen Datenblätter dauern etwas länger bei mir... ;)

Das Problem mit Reset bei mit 3,3V versorgten FTDI hab ich nicht, da USB bei mir 5V hat.

Ansonsten steht bei Unterschiede: der ..PB kann den ..P ersetzen, voll Software kompatiebel, wenn ich das richtig verstanden hab.

Werd erstmal weiter lesen, ist ja bald Wochenende.
