STEPCRAFT-2/420 UCCNC profile was created by import2prague
Hello,
I've purchased Stepcraft-2/420 CNC + UC100 dongle separately.

Is there any available UCCNC profile to use with this new version of router ?
Could someone from Stepcraft Systems point me where to find these profiles ?

Thanks a lot

Asked here a 1000 times I believe but nobody is willing to post the UCCNC profiles!

Simple reason, the people use Mach3 or WinPC-NC :-)

And no TopGear, no englisch support ;-)

Cheers,
Michel

Rory from http://stoneycnc.co.uk/ was very helpful and I've received
the missing files - thanks a lot !

I've expected that someone from stepcraft-systems has already prepared all necessary profiles at least
for Mach3 and UCCNC, but unfortunately not.

I plan to create some WIKI pages describing my experience with the machine, from the beginner's point of
view, as I'm just at the start of my CNC journey ;)

Asking the same thing: it seems that more and more people are using UCCNC after all.

I received an answer from Rory (the very same day) and he sent me the installation files to make my 420 v2 work with UCCNC.
He gave me some support too regarding an issue I've encounter with the first steps (hardware/software limits).

I'm not even a customer of StoneyCNC, so I'm quite amazed!

Thank you very much Rory, much appreciated!! :)

I'd also like to thank Rory from StoneyCNC for helping me with the UCCNC profiles. He has been remarkably helpful even though I didn't purchase my machine from him, I wish I had.

I wish Stepcraft would take an example from him and improve their support.

Your best bet is to contact Rory at StoneyCNC.

He offers exemplary customer service, irrespective of who supplied the machine.

Here's my original 2/420 Profile attached. I think, the M31 Macro will not work correctly.
If anyone needs a working one please post. I've also a modified 2/420 profile which I'm working with. It has enabled M6, MPG, spindle PWM, running M31 Macro and reduced velocity and homing speed for all axix since I'm using a heavy China spindle 0,8kW. Please give me 1-2 days since this profile is on an other PC.

I have the same issue for my SC 840/2. Ordered UCCNC with it. Received the CD. But the CD is not working. A lot of files are corrupted. I was able to download UCCNC from their website. But the Stepcraft profiles are missing.
Can somebody share them with me please?

Thank you!

Hello Mathieu,

I have uploaded the profiles for 840 V2 here, as attachment to this post.

You have both the milling profile and the 3D printing profile, also the default profile, just in case.

You need to simply copy them to the UCCNC folder.

Best,

I've seen that Stepcraft is now selling a branded UCCNC package with profiles included for all stepcraft models.

It's available here: https://www.stepcraft-systems.com/en/accessories/software/uccnc-control-software

It would be nice from Stepcraft to let us download the software with those profiles and that nice Stepcraft Logo on the top right.

@Attreyu
Your profile uses 'Stepcraftscreenset' which fails to load. I have changed it to the defaultscreenset. Is there any difference?
