Extruder Stepper Choice

Hi All,

I'll be starting to build my V-Core 2.0 soon, and am still mulling over what extruder/hot end I'll be using.

I'll definitely go with a Bondtech BMG, as I'm very pleased with the one I'm using already, and there's a fairly good chance I'll spend the money and go with the Slice Mosquito hot end as I like how it bolts up to the BMG.

I was going to go with some small steppers I've got here off a Zortrax M200 extruder, as they're compact and work well at 500mA, but I don't have any specs on them at all. I'll assume they are 1.8 deg steppers.

Does anyone have any recommendation, possibly from "Stepperonline" in Australia that would work for a large corexy machine in direct drive configuration, using the BMG/Mosquito combo mentioned above? Do I need 1.8 or 0.9 deg for the extruder? I would prefer a plug on the stepper, just for ease of working on the hot end assy.

I've got the exact X, Y and Z steppers you used in your corexy. They look good and were cheap/ex stock from Steppersonline in OZ.
