I have fitted the daughterboard with the USB B port in place of the original Parallel (LPT1) port to my Stepcraft 420 but the machine won't work. How can I get it to work ?? please

What does your device manager say?
Does he recognize the interface?

Thanks for your interest. I have replaced this port and put the original parallel port back in place and have it running with a new UC100 and a new UCCNC software package supplied by StoneyCNC.
I am present trying to get the tool height probe to work with no success.
