Hi lab - welcome to the forum!
That isn't that simple. If they .... maybe forget .... to stick a sticker with the serial number on the machine then they are still in charge! Can they prove that there was a sticker on the machine - I don't think so!
You have an Invoice, right! So, they should know what you have ordered!!!!

Keep cool, the serial number alone is no requirement for warranty!!! You have an invoice, You are listened as customer, so everything is okay.

If our reseller, I think it´s Mnova in Madrid, isn´t it, has said something like that, then it was completely wrong! As worldhusky said, You have an invoice and Mnova should know, when and what they have selled to You. If there occures any problem, don´t hesitate to contact me!
