Only recently built my M1000. Using the jogging arrows on UCCNC it stops before activating the limit switches in X and Y axis but not Z. It does stop when reaching the switches but then I have to reset. I have two questions:
How do I train it to know a Z soft limit?
After a reset I go HOME; are my x,y,z zeros still correct after going home?

I found the problem. In the configuration the Z axis limit was set to 1. Changed it to 0 and all is well.

This board software isn’t very good is it?
