Hello.
I want to buy a milling machine stepcraft 420, I am a beginner and I want to learn.
For this kind of milling machine, what it's tha most suitable milling motor?
My question: what kind of milling motor should I use: Proxxon IBS/E - 100W or Kress 800 FME 10000-29000rpm, 800W
Please help!

For soft materials (plastics, soft wood) the Proxxon is a suitable choice. Cheap and not to noisy. If you thing about milling hard wood, aluminium and have a workshop go for a Kress. The higher speed gives you a better cutting quality in wood and the possibility for tools with a bigger diameter than 1/8".
