Can someone kindly tell me what the setting for the z axis is when it exits and goes back into the toolpath please. I have a problem when the Woodburning pen hitting the maximum z+ stop. I want to adjust the amount the tool rises from the material before it enters the zero point to start the job. At the moment which is default seems to move about 50+mm up the z axis. So if I have a thick piece of material the tool tops out.

top of toolpaths setting in the right hand side - there is a Z home figure. this will sort you out.

Rory, do you mean this one as I cannot see one on the toolpath page.

This setting is not in the UCCNC - its in the CAM package
its the Z home / Z retract / Z start point.
in Vectric this is top right above toolpath operations
