Hi
I was asked if I could make an emergency bearing carrier for a small electric hire boat. The original casting had something caught behind the propeller that cut though the alloy housing making two separate pieces.
Using an old cutting board I machined the following parts which created a make-shift bearing carrier.
It was the first time I've machined this material, pleased with the results.
