How do you think that SafeZ should work in UCCNC ?? I think that you should be able to turn it on or off and set what the value represents as far as Machine Coords, Work Coords ABS or Work coords INC.
It also should set a # variable(#5000 for example) so you can access it from Gcode.
Just a thought,
