hello guys, i have stepcraft m700 and m500 , where the setting if im will use offset wear or use g42 ?

Hi, it depends on which control software you’re using with your STEPCRAFT M500/M700. If you want to use G42 with wear compensation, you generally need to enable cutter compensation in your CAM software and make sure the postprocessor outputs the correct G-code. G42 applies compensation to the right of the programmed path, while G41 applies it to the left. Which software are you using — UCCNC, WinPC-NC, or something else?
