3D Printer Head was created by tiberius
Hello,

I have a Stepcraft2 420 machine, and today I just got the 3D printing head. I followed the instruction in the manual, but I got stuck on inserting the filament. I cannot pull out the filament supply from the housing so I can insert the filament as per instructions. It juggles a little side to side, but it doesn't come out. I tried to unscrewing the adjusting screw for the filament pinch four times, and even got it all out, but the filament supply still doesn;t come out. Does anyone know how I can get it out ?

Note: The 3D printing head I received is a little different from the pictures in the manual. It has the 2 leds on the control unit instead of the printing head itself.

Solved the problem with the help of Stepcraft support. I was afraid to pull too hard cause I didn't know what the holding mechanism was. I'll post here the info I received in case anyone else has the same issue:

"You can pull it out, there is a small spring and a little ball inside that holds the filament feed line."
