Question Automatic Tool Changer Air Connection Question

Hi All,

How is everyone attaching the tool changer to their compressors/air tanks? The adapter that came with mine is not a standard 1/4 NPT thread like most compressors accessories use around here (Canada). I went to the a bunch of local hardware stores but couldn't find an adapter. I'm assuming its a metric thread on the fitting and I have to find an adapter top a standard 1/4. I tried contacting Stepcraft US support but they're ignoring my questions. Any help in finding the adapter online or another solution would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't have that tool changer and don't know what adapter is needed but I had a similar problem with my cooling pump for my water cooled China spindle.

I found parts in an ayuaristic shop (aquarium supplies) and a computer store specialized on power PC's for gamers using liquid cooled graphic adapters and CPU's.

Maybe thats an idea for next search...

Thus, an adapter is built quickly, you only need something there is in inches and metric.

If you purchased your machine in the US then they should support you immediately. If that doesn't works - contact the german support, report your problem and I'm pretty confident that they will find a fast solution. Don't worry about to write in english - I think they can handle that.
