problem X axis was created by yeeez
Hello i have a problem whit my new stepcraft 420 .
I have buy the cnc a few days ago
But once assembled I was not able to carry out the calibration of X-axis .when it comes to limits remains blocked , it is a mechanical problem 100 %
I think probably it's the rail of the X axis
Pieces number 9 on the guide .

thanks ivan .

Double check the supports of the washers.
Are 4 + 4 and they are different, I was only reversed one and the car was not aligned

hakim...,

so far nice job done, but your problem is the Y-axis.
Probably you have tighten the screws on the front and back of the table to tight. Lose those 4 screws and move your portal to the 0 position (front) and tighten the screws in front not over tighten them, then move the protal to the max 600 position (back) and do the same with the backside screws. Check if it working now.
another suggestion is to lose the set screws of the portal sides, the manual says 1 kg resistance but less is better just no clearing on the rolling bed is fine.

good luck and there are many topics on this forum with your problem.
