WinPC-NC kann diese Schalter als Referenzschalter UND gleichzeitig als Endschalter
auswerten. Bei den Stepcraft-Maschinen ist es aber so, dass der Arbeitsbereich etwas über
den Referenzschalter hinausragt, also der absolute Maschinennullpunkt jenseits des
Referenzschalters liegt.
Wenn Sie den referenzschalter auch als Endschalter auswerten, dann würden Ihnen ein paar
Millimeter am Arbeitsbereich fehlen, was von Stepcraft nicht gewünscht wird.

Die Schalter sind sowieso am Anschlag montiert und haben max. 1mm Betätigungsweg.
Theoretisch könnte man so den Arbeitsbereich pro Achse max. um einen knappen Millimeter erweitern. Ob dies in der Praxis Vorteile bringt und Sinn macht wage ich zu bezweifeln.
