Question Woodworking Pen?

I have just purchased a woodburning pen. I wonder if it will work successfully with photoVcarve. Also it would be nice to have some idea of feeds and speeds.

AhHa, I have done it. My very first job. I configured a new profile in the Tool Database for wood burning pen.
I put it in Engraving tools.The picture below shows my settings.
You have to wait about 5 mins for the tool to heat up.
Make sure you don't tighten the collet too much or it will stop the spring loaded sleeve holding the iron inside from moving .
Also make sure you set the tool to cut on the line and not outside or inside.

The burnt image looks good, what type of wood is that and what feed rate did you use?

I see you used/ modified an engraving tool profile for your wood burning pen.

I found a youtube video for the stepcraft woodburningpen , it shows a tool profile setting too.
They use an endmill profile.
