Question CNC-plus.de: no delivery, no reply and no answer phone?

Hi,

I ordered the StepCraft 420/2 here, and bought a Kress 1050 at CNC-Plus.de at the same time (on Sunday 24 May).
The StepCraft has been delivered, and is already built, but the Kress has not been delivered yet.

I did receive an order confirmation, but nothing else. No replies on my two emails from two days ago and today.
I've tried to call the company, but no answer....

At this point, I'm getting scared a little bit, and wish I had ordered a HF spindle at StepCraft instead..


Did someone else had such an experience with this company?

I ordered two times. First order: very fast and friendly. Second time (5weeks ago): took 3 weeks without declining a delay or sth. ...

no experience with CNC Plus, but i mostly buy things I need to work with my Stepcraft from "Sorotec" < www.sorotec.de/shop >. They deliver - in Germany - from one day to another and I suppose, they will be very fast also with deliveries to other countries.

Same experience, somtimes fast, sometimes slow. It seems to be a pretty small company, which sometimes has more work than they can handle without delay.

I ordered two vac tables from them on 25th March, got an order confirmation but hadn't heard anything else or received anything. Chased by email on 5th April, and they shipped on 7th April.

I sent a subsequent query by email but never got a response...

Ok, this doesn't sound too good.
It's the opposite of Stepcraft: instead of two weeks as stated on the site, I got my order within two days!

I ordered the Vacuumtable from CNC-Plus and it was delivered one and a half week later. So i can't complain.

I think like a lot of the companies in this (Hobbyist) market are quite small or a one man show.
So have patience and sometimes send a friendly reminder. We need these guys, they are offering us affordable
tools like the CNC-Plus Vacuumtable.

And i like to accept the slow processes, instead of a Multimillion Dollar Company that delivers in time but
cost often twice the money.

It's a Hobby, and most of us have limited budget (otherwise we would have endless discussions with our wives ).

Just to clarify...

You ordered on Sunday 24th of May.
And on Tuesday 26th of May (two days later) you already tried to ask them via eMail why it is not delivered already?

Sunday => I believe nobody is working there.
Monday => Bank holiday in Germany; I believe nobody is working there.

So Tuesday was the first day where they can react on your order.

From their webpage:
"... erfolgt die Lieferung der Ware in Deutschland innerhalb von 2 - 4 Tagen,
bei Auslandslieferungen innerhalb von 3 - 30 Tagen nach Auftragsbestätigung (bei vereinbarter Vorauszahlung nach Zahlungseingang).
Beachten Sie, dass an Sonn- und Feiertagen keine Zustellung erfolgt."

In English: Delivery in Germany within 2-4 days; delivery to other countries within 3 - 30 days. No delivery on Sundays and bank holiday. And delivery after money received. (not sure how you did pay?)

Maybe it will take a bit longer...

You are right, no reaction on email and phone is not the best service.
But having a "no delivery...." thread after 4 days is also not really needed. Just my point of view

Well, I was only asking for a status in a very polite email, is that a strange thing?
We are now 29 May... still no news from them yet, sorry to say so MrMaJo, but that's not right.

Oh, and my first email was on on wednesday 27 May:

"Good day,

Could you please inform me when the order will be shipped?

Not that shocking huh?
Having a small business doesn't mean you can ignore your customers if you don't have the time.
At least, inform the customers on the site about a possible delay.

My brand-new StepCraft is now standing here doing nothing...

Anyway: I requested a cancellation (no answer of course).

As I said, I am fully with you that it is not a good service when phone and emails are not answered...

I keep the fingers crossed that you will get a solution quickly.
I can as well suggest Sorotec. Very quick and perfect support via email.

The issue is solved, I had contact with the seller.
The goods are already shipped (without notice?).

It's so important to let your customers know about the status of their orders: even if delayed, I wouldn't care that much if only this was communicated to me.

Anyway: the Kress is on his way...
