More options for machine size was created by tikka
How about having an opportunity to define your own Stepcraft machine size by combinig parts of existing machines. For example with version 1 machines there was 600SF that was combined from 300 and 600. When people talk about starting a business with CNC machine they often talk about doing custom stuff according to client`s needs etc.
Just an idea.

The question is: who has to pay for the flexibility!
If SC is officially offering such opportunities, they have to calculate the prices different taking care for the extra work it means. Result is a higher price for all machines.
And remember the 600SF you mention was a request of a forum member. Obviously not much of the customers bought that version and it is not worth the extra difficulties.
I'd bet that you can still ask for a personalized offer. Of course in this case the requestor has to pay for the extra efford.
