Fairly complex shape using free software was created by MarkLeeds2K5
This was a little test to see what I could do without buying any software.

The shape was designed in Inkscape, converted to a 3D model in Blender, toolpaths created in Fusion 360, GCODE sent using Universal GCODE Sender, and stepcraft controlled by an arduino running GRBL. That's all free (except the arduino which was about £8).

It's only a bit of MDF, but I'm pretty pleased with the result.

Took about 1 hour 15 minutes to make.
