Question y axis belt sliding and pinching frame

Hi,

Does anyone have any solutions to the belt sliding back and pinching the frame?
The belt slides back on the tension pulley towards the orange frame then wears away and causes the machine to get stuck.

I have thought about taking off one of the ball bearing washers and sticking in a few washers between the frame and the remaining two ball bearing washers.

Any thoughts would be welcomed.

i guess the belt tension is too high. try less tension.

I tried it at lower tensions up to the point were it was to loose to operate.
However it still kept creeping back against the orange frame.
I stuck two washers between the frame and the tension holder.
It still slides back but seems to operate ok rubbing against the washers now.
I don't think it's a proper fix but will do for now.

I guess one or more filament inside the belt could be cracked.
Try to turn the belt around.
Might then creep away from the orange frame ...
