Question Y-axis loosing steps at about mid table

Hello,

After having assembled my V2 600 I am now in the phase of getting to know the machine.
During trial runs yesterday the machine had a tendency to loose steps on the Y-axis while traveling at low speed around half way down the table. It is running smooth towards the ends.
During assembly it moved smoothly all the way when moved by hand.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? Does it have to do with the cable movement under the table?

On my V2 840 I put 2 long pieces of electrical tape over the top and bottom edges of the base plate slot. This stopped the conduit from catching when moving on the Y axis.
