Hi. I need some advice on the best place to purchase cutters - V bit 60 & 90 degree and ball nosed cutters.
The chinese ones look a bit 'naff'
Where should i be looking. Any recommendations?

I got a decent tungsten carbide tipped 90 degree V groove cutter from Trend in the U.K.
I don't understand why you say "8 mm shank for Kress spindle"? The shank diameter of the bit will be whatever it is. You then have to insert an appropriately sized ER collet into the spindle. E.g. for a 5 mm diameter cutter, you use a 5 mm ER11 collet in a Stepcraft HF spindle. Kress have their own expensive collets:
You don't say where you live so we can't be any more helpful than this about where to get them from.
